Date : 04.1.2013.

Day    : Thursday.

Period : 2, 3 & 4 (0740-0925)

Class : 6AS.

Subject : Biology.

Theme : Chapter 7. Gas exchange.

Learning objective :

    1.    To investigate the structure and processes involved in mammalian breathing and the role of the blood system in the transportation of oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Learning outcome : Student should be able to :-

    1. Relate the structure of alveoli and blood capillary to the effectiveness of gaseous exchange in mammals.

2.    Describe the process of oxygen and carbon dioxide diffusion and transportation between the cells and the blood in the lungs and other tissue of the body.

Teaching Aids : Software cd, LCD projector and some question base on everyday experience.

Activity : Teacher run the cd and at the same time explanation are given base on question from         the students.

Noble value : Make the invisible visible.

Reflection : Lat. 1

Latihan 1.

1.    List down in sequence the respiratory tract in human.

2.    Explain why the lungs are efficient at exchanging gases.

3.    a)    Explain why the alveoli do not collapse when we breath out.

    b)    How does the surfactant act?
